About Me …
I am a graduate Creative Technologies student at Virginia Tech with a focus in tangible interaction and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) design. I am interested in exploring slow technology and critical design to bridge the gap between critical thinking and making. My research is finding new understandings of human- technology relationships, and it is shaped around topics such as personal growth, self reflection, meaning making and play in everyday settings. I have gained valuable experience through interdisciplinary collaboration, user experience studies and design research projects.
I have presented my individual and group research at conferences and symposiums such as Autodesk, NASA, TEI, CAPWIC, and CHCI.
