Dorm5-6 copy2 copy.jpg

This design was based on undergraduate students’ preferences for designing a new residence hall next to he existing dormitories on Eram Campus area in Shiraz. The main purpose was to find architectural solutions to different psychological and physical needs in dormitories for undergraduate students, since there are not many suitable accommodations provided for students studying in cities other than their own.

Results showed that most students prefer to live in suite type residence halls as they provide an appropriate living environment and enhance more private space. The rooms were designed based on these results.
